Fonts.gr – also known as Greek Digital Type Library – established in 1995, aims to renew and refresh Greek typography. As a type foundry, it provides retail and custom typefaces, alongside type design and consulting.
I’ve personally often been confronted to confusion when it comes to finding and selecting ‘bilingual’ fonts, something that could work with both Greek and Latin characters, and I’ve found this website very helpful and insightful. In 2020 Fonts.gr updated its presence on social media. Visiting their shop on Instagram and Facebook, you’ll find a showcase of their most popular typefaces that you’re able to share, in stories, through the AR Filter. The design was implemented by Georgia Harizani and Filippos Fragkogiannis.
